The Farrers live in a stunning historic home in Springville that somehow wraps its shingled limbs around both traditional and contemporary design, leaving visitors stunned. The tremendous ceilings lend an unusually spacious feel to each bedroom with light-flooding windows. Laurel is a master designer and has a knack with mixing modern and antique elements seamlessly. Take for example the stunning, thousand pound antique dish cupboard, lined with white glassware. Some might consider this piece a real elephant to lighten up to fit the mood of the home. It's genius. Plain and simple. Plain and simple is what Laurel makes interior design look like, but there is an intricate inner-working of design elements at play here. True masters always make the task look easy!
Just look at those dizzying polka dots, that perfect white dress, the marvelous silk Hermes ascot that Bret has conquered, like a civilization that left its city gates open overnight. It was a pleasure to photograph the Farrers and their inviting home. To view and order pictures of the full event, click HERE.
